I am the owner & manager of Coates Guns LLC in Corydon, Iowa - which has been a family owned business since 1992.  Prior to taking over in 2011, I served in the USAF for six years as a C-130E and MC-130H Loadmaster in both AMC and AFSOC Commands.  I also create and maintain all online content for www.coatesguns.com.

My experiences and passion for the firearms industry have helped me to build our business to where it is today.  It is my goal to be something more than the typical gun shop, and to provide a welcoming and respectful experience for all of our customers.

You may occasionally speak with me when you call, or see me behind the desk at the gun shop.  I help out and fill in where I can, and make sure things behind the scenes are running smoothly.  

I have attended Shot Show and am steadily learning more about the firearm industry.
